Local Information Ta' Xbiex
Ta' Xbiex is a peninsula overlooking the inner reaches of Marsamxett Harbour.
Its name means 'place for fishing nets' and may be one of only a few places that bear a name of Greek origin. Until the mid 20th century it was a small fishing port.
